Our habits define us. With awareness and practice we can learn to create or change habits, gaining more authorship over our lives.

What is one habit or ritual that you do every day (or close to it)?
Exploration:
Our habits define us even more than our goals and hopes. We pick up habits from friends, family, and media, everything from how we walk to the way we brush our teeth or deal with a conflict. We also have the power to change habits, which means we can change ourselves. To do so we need specific goals, a way to remind ourselves, friends who are supporting the change, and rewards or celebrations along the way. If you could create any new habit for yourself, what would it be? Start small, giving yourself the space to practice and be imperfect.
